Dear friends,
Welcome to the website of St Paul's Church, Plaine Verte, Mauritius. We invite you to go through our various pages and trust that you will get to know us better and develop a relationship with our church.
St Paul's Church forms part of the Anglican Diocese of Mauritius. It dates back to 1864 and has had a long history of missionary work among the various sections of the Mauritian Community, including people of Tamil and Chinese origins. Today the congregation is very much multi-cultural.
Our church is Bible-based and Spirit-led. We believe in the bible as the supreme authority. We believe that the Holy Spirit was poured out on Pentecost to enable believers to be effective witnesses of Jesus (Acts 1:8).
Our vision is "Passion for God and Compassion for people". This is in line with the diocesan vision to "Enlarge the space of your tent".
We would be honoured to welcome you at one of our services on Sundays.
Yours in Christ,
Rev Eric Ma Fat
